Huawei modular data centers allow to save up to 40% on construction stage
Solutions for the deployment of modular DC from Huawei are designed for all the necessary architecture, allowing you to add uninterruptible power supplies, power distribution system and racks. In addition, pre-assembled modules can flexibly combine and deploy devices as needed. Some innovative solutions also support four-level stacking, that is, new modules can be added as capacity grows, achieving system expansion. For example, when deploying a data center with a capacity of 1,800 racks in the Middle East, Huawei's solution saved up to 40% of the initial investment compared to the traditional method, which ensured a high payback.
One of the important tasks of data centers is to support the stable operation of mission-critical applications, so the solutions provided by industry leaders are characterized by very high reliability. With an IP55 protection class, a pre-assembled modular data center is able to withstand sand and dust storms, heavy rains.
Energy efficiency of modular solutions is achieved with the help of highly efficient UPS, in-row air conditioners with variable performance and technology of separation into hot and cold corridors. Huawei also offers iCooling technology for its modular designs in order to increase cooling efficiency by 20% and, on the contrary, reduce energy consumption over its entire service life by 10% or more.
Data center management is carried out by Data Center Infrastructure Management, which uses the cloud architecture to centralize the process of managing center devices, reduce the amount of maintenance work performed on-site, and, accordingly, reduce staff costs. This approach allows achieving high accuracy of data center resources management and maximum efficiency of their use. A system in which all power and cooling devices are visualized provides monitoring of their status in real time. All this, in turn, reduces the current running costs over the entire life cycle by 10% or more.
